Welding method of steel pipe
The production of steel pipe is carried out in accordance with different processes, and the welding process of steel pipe is an important process and work. According to different welding methods, steel pipe can be divided into arc welding pipe, high frequency or low frequency resistance welding pipe, gas welding pipe, furnace welding pipe, bondi pipe and so on.
1. Electric welded steel pipe: Used for oil drilling and machinery manufacturing.
2. Furnace welded pipe: can be used as water and gas pipe, etc., big mouth straight seam welded pipe for high-pressure oil and gas transmission, etc.; Spiral welded pipe is used for oil and gas transmission, pipe piles, piers and so on.
3. According to the shape of the weld, it can be divided into straight welded pipe and spiral welded pipe.
Straight welded pipe: simple production process, high production efficiency, low cost, rapid development.
Spiral welded pipe: the strength is generally higher than that of straight welded pipe. The welded pipe with larger diameter can be produced with narrower blank, and the welded pipe with different diameter can also be produced with blank of the same width. But compared with the same length of straight seam pipe, the weld length is increased by 30~100%, and the production speed is lower. Therefore, the welded pipe of small caliber mostly adopts straight seam welding, and the welded pipe of large caliber mostly adopts spiral welding.
